6,000 sq. ft. (Includes basement) This green, contemporary, Prairie-style passive solar home is state of the art. It achieved a HERS 45 rating (using 55% less energy than allowed by code) without renewables and used only off-the-shelf products. It includes high performance windows, and a uniquely camouflaged rooftop Coolerado evaporative cooler (in the chimney).
